April 30, 1:00pm: Women’s Personal Safety and Cookie Decorating
The women’s safety workshop is the perfect solution for busy Moms (and Dads too) to ease fears and provide the skills, strategies and confidence to make secure decisions. The workshop will cover threat recognition, vehicle security and safety planning. Each workshop will offer different information for addressing your personal safety. This workshops are offered once each quarter. Kids will enjoy decorating cookies with you during the class.
May 15, 1:00pm: Bully Buster
It’s tough for both Parents and Teachers to deal with bullying and most kids are forced to deal with it on their own. The problem is they have not been trained! The Bully Buster workshop can save your child from the lifelong effects of bullying. Bullying has and will continue to erode the self-esteem of millions of young victims. Bullying has been linked by the CDC to isolation, drug abuse, school violence and suicide.
But, your child doesn't have to be just another statistic! Have your child attend our free workshop and gain the training necessary to cope with bullies. This workshops are offered once each quarter.
